CORONA DIARY
Ms. Newhart & I hiked a small part of the Appalchian Trial back in December 2019 in the Poconos. I love those different shades of green.
On March 12, 2020, we were told that school had to shut down for two weeks.
We were told that we were not to attempt to cover new material with the students,
which is understandable, I suppose. At first I thought about taking this as more of
a suggestion, but as time went on it became clear that it was a command that came from
the top. So this is my compromise. Click the thumbnails above for

physics things you can do, and other things that keep you observing the world around
you. Enjoy, and don't stop learning!
Update! We've been told now that we may teach new material starting the week after what
would have been Spring Break. That would be starting April 14.
Another update! We've been told now that we'll be doing this distance learning
thing until April 30.
And finally, the distance learning is extended to the end of the year.
